Trading Politics for Motorcycles
Posted July 25th, 2008 by donhajicekIf you read any political blogs between late 2002 and the 2004 presidential election, then chances are you've read me before. (Go be a sleuth if you'd like.) I've been unable to blog much after burning out pretty profoundly as George was sworn in for his second term, but I've since rediscovered another blog-worthy passion... motorcycles.

This was a 10 hour ride. A sore ass rating of 8.
We took off from Niwot at about 11:30 am, heading up to 66 and onto 36 through Lyons. Estes was packed, of course, and though I knew I should have gotten into the right-hand lane as we entered Estes on 36, I found myself turning left and enduring the crawl through the tourists.
